While this is a very popular strategy for fat loss right now, I have still yet to see any hard research showing that it results in significant fat loss on it’s own. The key point that is missing from this post is that this can work IF and only if your nutrition is on point (caloric deficit, macronutrient balance, proper water consumption, all that fun stuff). If you drink a cup of black coffee and do fasted cardio in the morning, then go pound some McDonald’s for lunch and Chick-Fil-A for dinner, you’re not going to lose any fat
